The KJV translation of Proverbs 11:13 shows Solomon using the coordinating conjunctions “but”   to show direct contrast between the subjects of the two independent clauses which form the part-a and b of the proverb. The word talebearer is the subject of the first independent clause. The word רכיל (Rakil) used in the original Hebrew text is derived from רכל (Rakal) which means to travel for trade. Therefore, the English word “talebearer” seems to be a single word used to represent two words in Proverbs 11:13a i.e. רכיל הלך which means a traveling slanderer or a scandal monger. Revelation 12:10 mentions that Satan is the accuser of the brethren, who desperately tries to destroy and wound people by tale bearing.
The sole purpose of Satan’s activity of slander is to place Cockatrice eggs (Isaiah 59:3) into the conscious, sub conscious or unconscious parts of a person which from there on will be incubated by the old sin nature of that person as he/she chooses to use negative volition as they receive slanderous information believing a lie rather that the truth of what the word of God has to say about the mind of Christ. The Hebrew text צפעני בּיצה (Bitsiah Zaphoyni) is translated in KJV as Cockathrice’s eggs, where צפעני is a masculine noun referring to a viper (a poisonous serpent) which is a figurative representation of dangerous, destructive people. In this doctrine Satan’s activity promotes spiritual corruption through slanderous activity, which must be discerned and spiritually rebuked from within to stop and eliminate the possibility of it bearing eggs in our memories and producing rebellion, which is a departure from the mind of God.
Romans 16:17 and 18 states:
Rom 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
Rom 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

1.       Who do I avoid?
I avoid whom I mark spiritually for causing division and producing an offence contrary to the doctrine. They may use good words and fair speeches to deceive the hearts of simple people.

2.      What does “mark them” mean?
Mark them in Greek is described by the word σκοπέω which means to take aim at which here is a figurative speech to imply regard, consider, take heed.

3.      What kinds of words are used by these people who we are to avoid?
Good words (χρηστο+λογία (Krestologia)) i.e. employable, useful, gracious and kind discourse, which has continuity whereby a person if follows it, is lead from state to state of deception. And, fair speeches (εὐλογία (Eulogia)) which refers to elegance of language, religiously benediction, by extension benefits or largeness.

4.      How can I show Gods love towards them?
By marking them and not making false peace with them. This shows sincerity which reveals the mind of Christ and Gods love for righteousness (Heb 1:9)

5.      What problems can come when we become sentimental in our relationship with them?
Sentimentality can make a person choose peace over division which is contrary to the word of God as follows:
a)     Proverbs 20:19 meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips. Where meddle is translated from ערב which means to intermix, or to traffic / exchange by the means of barter, mingle, give pledges etc.
b)     Proverbs 23:6  Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats.
c)      This matter invokes various scriptures such as Amos 3:3 which clearly defines the departure of the mind of Christ from having peace with rebellion.

6.      Why can’t I just hear of read an evil report and decide on my own what is right or wrong with it in light of Isaiah 11:3 and proverbs 23:8?
According to Isaiah 11:3 a person who is born again will be quick to respond to the fear (יראה i.e. reverence) of the Lord, and will not judge by sight neither reprove by the hearing of his ears. If a person chooses to do contrary to what this scripture says, he/she chooses to respond to the kingdom of darkness instead of God, which God shall judge.

7.      Name the 7 things God hates in Proverbs 6:16-19
Proverbs 6:17  A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
Proverbs 6:18  An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
Proverbs 6:19  A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

IN CONCLUSION, according to the doctrine this paper discusses, for effective deliverance from the effects one may experience such as depression, anger, guilt, shame, etc, the first step is to realize that bearing infections due to responding to the spirit of tale bearing is a sin. Whereby, the results had a precursor to it, which was walking contrary to the mind of Christ and living in sin. Thereafter, one must find redeeming grace in the provision written in 1 Jn 1:9 which states “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Furthermore, knowing Proverbs 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil” is vital, since one must know that purging is imperative and that can only be achieved by receiving mercy and displacing wounds with truth, and through the fear of the Lord one can successfully depart from evil.
